The discovery of Luna shattered my heart into pieces…
This poor mama dog had just given birth to a litter of 6 adorable pups and was out looking for food when someone cruelly poisoned her. It’s heart-wrenching to imagine that they placed poisoned food under the vehicle where she gave birth, and she became trapped and unable to escape. Eventually, hunger drove her to eat that deadly food, and it cost her life.
A little boy noticed Luna in a dangerous situation and waited until the person who left food for her had gone before calling the Prishtina Dog Shelter. Despite being in critical condition, Luna still managed to lift her head and plead for help to keep her puppies safe. The volunteers from the shelter arrived quickly and administered emergency treatment to save her life. Luna was then taken to the Prishtina Dog Shelter where she was reunited with her pups.
After a period of rest, Luna felt better and ready for her next task. The next day, she had to receive injections that were necessary for the health of her puppies. Although she was a bit anxious, she remained calm and well-behaved. Luna is indeed a great dog!
The following day, the vet examined Luna and confirmed that she was in good health. Her puppies were still too young to be adopted, so Luna was relieved to hear that they would be staying with her a little while longer. She was overjoyed to see them again.
